How the calculator works
Fansly keeps 20% of what fans pay and pays creators the other 80%. The calculator multiplies your paying subscribers by what each spends a month, takes off Fansly's share and any agency commission, and shows what's left.
- Fans spend = paying subscribers × (subscription price + tips and pay-per-view per subscriber).
- You take home = fans spend × 80% × (1 − agency commission).
- Subscribers needed = income goal ÷ what you keep per subscriber.
Because Fansly and OnlyFans take the same cut, compare them on discovery and payouts instead: see OnlyFans vs Fansly payouts and LoyalFans vs Fansly. To estimate tax on what you earn, use the creator tax calculator; to drop the platform fee altogether, compare an owned site with Highlife.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Fansly take from creators?
Fansly keeps 20% of fan payments and pays creators 80%, the same split as OnlyFans. Subscriptions, tips, and pay-per-view are all subject to the 20% fee before your own taxes and costs.
How do you estimate Fansly income?
Multiply paying subscribers by what each spends a month (subscription price plus tips and pay-per-view), keep 80% after Fansly's fee, and subtract any agency commission. The calculator above does this and shows yearly totals.
Is Fansly or OnlyFans better for income?
Both keep 20%, so the fee doesn't decide it. Income depends on how many paying fans you can bring or find on each platform and what they spend; Fansly leans more on in-platform discovery, OnlyFans on traffic you send it.
How many Fansly subscribers do you need to make $3,000 a month?
At a $9.99 subscription with about $5 a month in tips and pay-per-view per subscriber, you keep roughly $12 per subscriber after the 20% fee, so you'd need about 251 paying subscribers. Higher spend per fan lowers that number.
