How the calculator works

Fanvue's Creator Earnings & Payouts policy sets the standard creator earning rate at 80% of gross revenue from paid services, with 20% retained by Fanvue (Fanvue policy, section 1). The calculator adds up what your paying subscribers spend, takes off Fanvue's share and any agency commission, and shows what's left.

  • Fans spend = paying subscribers × (subscription price + PPV per subscriber + tips per subscriber).
  • Fanvue fee = fans spend × 20% (or the promotional rate you enter).
  • You take home = fans spend − Fanvue fee − agency commission.

If Fanvue has given you a promotional earning rate, enter Fanvue's share in the fee field: a 15% fee means you keep 85%. Promotional rates are temporary, so run the standard 20% too.

Worked examples

Three sets of inputs run through the same formula as the calculator. They show how the math works; they are not typical or expected Fanvue earnings, which depend entirely on your own audience and prices.

Fanvue payout rules

  • Pending period: 7 days as standard, extendable to 28 days (Fanvue policy, section 2).
  • Payout requests: any time once funds clear and meet your withdrawal method's minimum; Fanvue aims to start valid requests within 10 business days.
  • Chargebacks: above a 1.5% dispute rate in a rolling 30 days, Fanvue may charge $50 per additional dispute (section 4).
  • Dormant balances: a balance with no payout request for 12 months can be classified as dormant, with reminders first; rules differ for US creators.
